In-State Tuition Sought for Migrants

Sacramento - Undocumented immigrants who have graduated from California high schools would be able to pay lower in-state tuition at state colleges under a bill approved Wednesday by the Senate Education Committee.  Currently, students whoa re not in the United States legally must pay the much higher out-of-state college fees even if they lived most of their lives in this state.
